Food was delivered promptly and was relatively warm on arrival. Some dishes were very tasty such as the Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as the Spinach, feta and cumin empanadas. But was disappointed that the Beef and Chicken ones which are supposed to be a main course were actually the same size as the starter Empanadas we had ordered – the extras you get with the main Empanadas are not worth double the price of a starter. I’d rather have less extras and a bigger Empanada. The Green Pork Chilli lacked depth of flavour but the meat was tender. The Pao de mel had a very dense and claggy texture which was not very nice. Delivered on time, hot and tasty. The food wasn't too bad either. I kid! Our team had a selection to choose from this lunch and everything was brilliant. The ropa vieja was full of flavour and so tender, paired beautifully with fluffy white rice. Garlicky collard greens and crunch slaw added a great texture to the meal, and the freebie dessert was a great way to top off a very indulgent, but good valued lunch. Speedy delivery, but both the baked wrapped chicken and macaroni needed to be reheated and could definitely do with some kind of sauce! Dry even before reheating. My boyfriend loved it though. The beef stew was absolutely perfect! Tasted fresh and bright -- home-made in the best possible sense. Coleslaw was lovely, and its green chili sauce artfully displayed on the side. However, the macaroni was oddly dry and somewhat flavourless. The empanada was a washout for me -- pastry and filling both bland. I'd definitely order again, as I love the HouseBites idea, and forgive Will's timid seasoning here and there because the Ropa Vieja was so very good. Not every dish will please everyone! - Gary,N1

The chicken and Ropa Vieja were both delicious. Warm and just perfect. I was concerned with the transport that it may not be perfect, but it was.
