All was very good and freshly prepared, however I did not like the tomato and white bean soup as it was too salty and it seemed to have as a base something containing preservatives (i.e. canned food...), sorry but I will not order that again. The meatballs with tomato sauce were of excellent quality and so was the polenta. The chocolate ganache with nut cruch was scrumptious and next time I will order extra portions as we all argued for it this time. My wife convinced me to try housebites, as she is a regular customer. I loved the Feta salad, large portion and very fresh. The meat balls tasted great and the lemon posset desert finished it all off nicely. I would highly recommend housebites and Tom to my friends and family. - James,SW15

The food was very tasty with good flavours coming through, rather than being over fussy or complicated. I particularly liked the notion of a seafood, as opposed to a straightforward fish, pie and I felt I should have ordered two possets so that I could have one tomorrow! Squid in pie was tough. Main problem was that food arrived tepid, and no indication as to whether the containers were oven/microwave safe. This cancelled the pleasure of having it delivered, I might just as well have gone to Cook or M&S, Perhaps potato with pie was a bit much. The lemon posset was delicious but too many crumbs. Finally, a Chef delivering to Fulham ! Great meal - I loved it. Price very good (no more expensive than a large pizza from Dominos). Everything arrived still hot, earlier than we thought. The mains were delicious, and really felt like home cooking. The portions were quite generous too, we could not finished everything. As soon as I read about the concept , I gave it a try tonight. It's very convenient (all on-line and delivered right on time). Importantly the food was excellent....the bream was still warm enough and had retained its consistency and the potatoes and salad nicoise were also very good. Excellent pudding too: chocolate with crunchy white chocolate and nuts...and just a few calories! All in all , I'm hooked ! Great idea and very well executed. - preben,W8

The meatball sauce was made from fresh ingredients combining perfectly with cheese polenta, the Nicoise salad with lovely light dressing...and the whole dinner topped up with delicious lemony bite!
