Absolutely delicious! The best Cottage Pie I've ever eaten and that was agreed by my Mum who is no mean cook! She even admitted it was better than hers which is saying something. The food I recieved was exceptional we had lamb tagine, Cicken and chorizo and fennel & feta salad. As a busy mum and working full time I rarely get to eat good quality home good it was a wonderful treat and I won't be going back to my weekly curry! Thanks Tiane x - Claire,NW10

The food arrived promptly and very well packaged. The children gobbled up their macaroni cheese and shepherds pie with fervour. Once they were out of the picture, the adults got down to business with the 'grown up' food. It was superb. The boeuf bourgignon was succulent and quite memorable. The Ottolenghi-esque salads were crunchy and zingy (there was a table fight over the last piece of beetroot). But the chocolate tarte was the icing on the cake. It was out of this world. I would recommend it to anybody who has the chance to order the magnificent brandy-laced dessert - don't go past it!! FAB! FAB! FAB! The bourgignon was the best we'd ever eaten. In fact I snuck down in the night to eat the last mouthful. The veggies were gorgeous. We always love crunchy beans and mange tout, but the addition of the hazelnuts added another lovely dimension and the zingy orangey dressing lifted the dish to another level. The roast beetroot salad was one of the best things we've eaten in a long time - innovative and incredibly delish. Love the tarte with the almondy pastry - it was so soft. Our son found a little remainder in the fridge the next morning and had to fight me for it! Good luck, housebites is a fab idea - so refreshing to have a delivery takeaway that's a home-cooked meal.
