The food was really delicious, I would have been impressed with the tastes and quality even if this had been served to me in an expensive restaurant. It was better than the meal I had at Le Gavroche. We had sea bass, and it was beautifully flavoured. The chocolate pudding was amazing - it was gorgeous. First time we've tried housebites and we'll definitely be using it again. It was fantastic to get a proper home cooked meal rather than standard takeout options which we always find a bit greasy and heavy. The food that we ordered came very quickly and was exceptionally good! The pork and lamb were both amazingly tender and rich with flavor. We were also given a starter as a treat that had not even been ordered! The portions were very generous, my girlfriend was not even able to finish, although I had no problem eating the rest of hers. Generous helpings, and pretty good on the whole. My only serious criticism is that the Pork Filet Mignon was very undercooked; I know that recent rethinking says it is OK for pork to be a little pink, but this was seriously medium-rare, a deep pink almost throughout. However, it was good meat,and the sauce was absolutely delicious, as was the mash. We would use this chef again. - Suzanne,SW3

Liked the chef [very local] and will definitely give him another try. Pork tenderloin was a little underdone I think. Tenderloin is supposed to be pink, but this still had a bit of "porkiness" about it. Not sure if this is just me though. Also, mustard sauce was sloshing around in bottom of container Grilled vegetables were ok, but not crispy+chargrilled, too soft. Portions were very generous - could easily have been dinner for two people which is very good value. Supplied a chocolate fondant as a bonus which was very nice. All in all a good experience. Tip 1 - maybe supply sauces in little dishes within the main dish container. That way you plate the food, then pour the sauce container. - Greg,SW11

I just left a message on your site but feel the meal was so good I would message again. Bonner gallantly arrived on our door step this evening laden with his wears and my wife And I are so glad he did squid crispy and we forgive an off night on the alioli as they were so good pork moist and tender and mash delishiously creamy And the first time my wife hasn't complained about mash in years as hers is pretty dam good Veg crisp sauce scrummy leeks well there nearly was pistols at dawn as we were fighting Over the last dregs and a delishious dessert at the end we are both sitting here perfectly stuffed With a whiskey wondering if we would change anything we wouldn't its the best take out we have had In a while that's not sushi and we both feel we have been thoroughly spoiled and have had a night off Well done and we will be definitely be ordering again soon - Kenneth,SW15

The food was absolutely wonderful! This is the perfect solution for corporate lunches, especially when you would like to impress but do not want to hire an entire catering team. Completely delicious, and what an amazingly low price! The one small downside was that the food arrived tepid, but had I pre-heated the plates it would not have been a problem. - Kara,SW7
