Vegetarian Filo Parcel

Another excellent meal courtesy of Housebites. This was my second order, food was outstanding. Nabil is an excellent chef, delivery was on time and everything was delicious. Will definitely be ordering again - Douglas,N22

The seabass was delicious and the variety of spinach, fennel and avocado worked really well. The tagine was good but a bit watery, and lacked a bit of punch. The portions sizes were very large - we had to save the chocolate mousse for tonight because we were so full! Thanks very much. - Amanda,E8

Food was good. Delivery was 20 minutes late. Not the delivery guy's fault - clearly more delivery people are needed as he was on his own on a pushbike. Thankfully the food was still hot. - Edward,N5

I love the delivery service with Housebites, and having it delivered to your door is such a treat! Nabil's meatballs were very good with a delicious sauce. The saffron rice was slightly overpowering, but tasty nonetheless. I also got a sweet pastry as a free dessert which was beautifully covered in edible gold glitter, a wonderful touch. Brownie and filo parcels were delicious - the tagine was very disappointing. Good ingredients, sure, but really bland and watery. It wouldn't put me off - just would avoid it again. - Richard,N16

Nabil, great work. The couscous was light and fluffy; a perfect counterpoint to the lamb and veg; I used the delicious (and atomic) harissa sparingly, which, with the cinnamon and fruits of the couscous, gave it a sweetness, too. The work you put into the filo was terrific - peeled toms! Delightful, and great to see you pull up on a bike. It was one of our best Housebites yet - if not the best. Mabrouk ya akhi! - jess,N16

Lovely food, nicely presented. Arrived well within the allocated time slot by very polite chef. Also some tasty, complimentary cakes were provided - always a nice surprise. It was so nice to get take out and not feel unhealthy and bloated afterwards which is always the case with the usual options. 10/10 from all of us! The food was all nice and warm on arrival- seabass was perfect and very tasty & the tagliatelle was perfectly cooked with a really nice, light white sauce. The lamb was really tender with juicy vine tomatoes full of flavour. Thai beef salad was fresh and had a good 'kick.' Garlic broccoli side was amazing, crunchy & very flavoursome. Our chef even threw in some freebie slices of almond cake - a great added touch which you would not get from your standard takeaway. - Tom,N4
