Chicken and Cashew nut Curry

There should be a higher rating than 'very good', perhaps 'delicious' or 'please sir, can I have some more?'! The food arrived freshly delivered bang on 7pm, sadly I wasn't here to meet Melanie but my neighbour said she was very sweet! I would highly recommend Melanie - her smoked salmon linguine was divine and the portions were more than ample. - Davina,SW18

As our first housebites order, we enjoyed Melanie's food quite a bit. The Falafels were tasty and seemed to be baked, instead of fried, which was a nice change. The Tagine was tasty, as was the cous cous. The portions were generous and overall we were very pleased. We'll definitely be using housebites again! Our one criticism was that some of the seasoning needed adjustment (the hummus lacked salt and acidity). - Sarah,SW6

Unfortunately the chilli con carne was lukewarm when it arrived - to be fair Melanie said she had difficulty finding my address so hopefully this is a one-off, though if I was making it myself I would add a few more ingredients; chopped peppers, mushroom, sweetcorn etc, I found it a little plain for my taste. The potato salad was good and reasonable value. However whilst my local delicatessen (1 min walk) continues to do fresh pasta dishes to go for £3.99 I really can't see myself regularly spending £15.00 through this site... - Govind,W14

You should have an 'excellent' rating as well. Once again a fantastic takeaway. So far the quality has been brilliant, consistency with this service has been very good. The Chicken and Leek pie was so tasty and the mash and cabbage was delicious. The only thing I would add is that for the size of the pie I had about 3 maybe 4 chunks of chicken, a couple more would have been nice, as there was a lot of lovely leek sauce and pastry to go with it. Melanie gave me some chocolate truffles to try for free as she was testing a new recipe and to thank me for being a returning customer, which was lovely and they were just perfect to finish off the dinner. They should definitely go on the menu. Once again I have some left overs for tomorrow, which is perfect. - Georgina,SW15

I have just eaten the best takeaway that I have ever had in London. The takeaway was delivered by the lovely chef Melanie and she was so friendly. I did not have to wait very long for it be delivered, about 35 minutes. I have waited longer for a pizza delivery! The food was excellent, I really enjoyed it all. Fresh, tasty and healthy food, basically a guilt free takeaway! I did have the desert, so not totally guilt free, but it was exceptionally good. The portion sizes were perfect and I have some left overs, which I will eat tomorrow. I am going to recommend you to all my friends in London. - Georgina,SW15
