Chicken in Salsa

Think it might be a personal taste but the pork chops were very very salty, as was the salad, which I found a bit strange. The bread and butter pudding was soggy but again that might be due to cold weather. Nice touch re. on the house coffee and chocolate marsmellow though. - Yen,SW19

The food was lovely, way better than the standard bland takeaway i usually get and the portion sizes were large. Wonderfully friendly service - delivered by Mayelin's husband even though I said I could pick it up. Good portion sizes, tasty food, felt like real home cooking. This was my first order through Housebites and I have to say it's pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed the carne ripiada and tostones, they were a refreshing change from all the other food on offer in my area. Food was delivered exactly on time, nicely packaged. I ordered chicken in tomato and herb sauce, rice and salad, torrejas pudding. The chicken was cooked well, tasted very good and was well seasoned. Decent portion of rice, nice salad. Really good pudding (like bread and butter pudding), not oversweet. One small criticism I had was that I thought the amount of chicken could have been larger, I seemed to have quite a small portion.
