The meal its self was excellent the chicken soup was just what i needed to soothe my cold riden soul. The fish and potaotoes were excellent well cooked and even tasted good the next day.Although most of the sauce from the fish escaped in the packaging which made it soggy and unplesent when i removed it from the bag but apart form that it was all good! - Cheryl,NW10

My overall feedback is that having the option to order a 3 course meal is a great idea, however, the execution of this seems faulty. Not all food items can withstand the process of being cooked to delivery. I thought some meals were let down due to how it was packaged, ie. crispy hot potatoes becoming soggy and greasy. Pros- Meal arrived on time, looked lovely and was well packaged. The Lamb was cooked well, however I did not detect any red wine at all, the parmentier potatoes were greasy and soggy. Cons- 1) White Choc Brownies had biscotti and cream with raspberries. The combination of brownies and biscotti does not work I believe and unfortunately when the items arrived, the cream had soaked through and made the biscotti soggy. The brownies were dry as well. 2) Green Beans with Garlic- did not detect any garlic flavours, none of the beans were trimmed. 3) French Toast with berries- Unfortunately this was binned as the bread had become rubbery. - Camille,HA9

Overall it was very good - the white chic brownie dessert with cream and raspberries was fantastic. We did ask for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it was well done, but still very tasty and extremely happy with the meal as a whole. - Richard,W9

I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the food Jean delivered to me. My steak was excellent - perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be using Housebites again, it's head-and-shoulders above any other options. - Richard,W2

The food had to delivered from a different area - so we did not expect it to be hot. Once warmed through, it was a very nice, well flavoured meal. I thought the desert was a little over priced for what it was at £5 each. Other than that, it was a lovely meal. - Joanna,W3

The orzo was good, but there were a couple of small issues: it was a bit oversalted and the dried mushrooms hadn't been soaked for long enough, so the larger pieces were quite woody. But overall it was pretty good. The pavlova was excellent. - Azim,W10
