Rave reviews from our group for the pasta in particular. The zucchine was also very good. the Carrots were tasty but the glaze didn't work well due to the shipping boxes (glaze tended to gather in the container rather than stay on the carrots I was a big fan of the chicken, but others were less so the rice that went with the chicken was perfectly cooked and flavored the dessert was a big success, despite a partial substitution at the last minute. overall excellent quality and value for money - steve,WC2N

I was so delighted to use Housebites at last and so grateful that you cooked and delivered (in freezing rain) for me specially because of my sore foot, and I loved the surprise chocolate brownie - thank you so much! But perhaps my expectations were too high. From the picture and description I'd expected a creamy sauce, but there didn't seem to be anything very much added to the pasta at all, so we found it rather dry and dull even with the added cheese. - Hilary,WC1H

Just ordered from Housebites for the first time, chosing carpaccio di zucchine, straccetti di pollo and mousse al cioccolato. I was very impressed - the meal was delicious, espcially the starter, and having it delivered by Nico himself was a really nice touch. I was initially a little disappointed to receive a chocolate brownie instead of the chocolate mousse I had ordered, but all was forgiven once I tried it...it was amazing and had obviously just been baked. I will definitely be ordering from them again, my night working late in the office has been made so much more enjoyable by such a lovely meal! - carly,WC1X

Excellent Carpaccio di zucchine - simple, yet perfectly balanced. The Rigatoni al ragu was good - tough to be blown away by a pasta dish, and it could perhaps have done with a bit more meat. That said, the serving for the Straccetti di pollo ai funghi was just right. The Mousse al cioccolato was very good and could just have done with being a little larger. The chocolate brownie was a generous surprise that was really tasty. Will keep ordering from Allison and Nico (always delivered on time) and suspect next time will be a 5* rating. - Alexi,EC1Y

Tried Housebites for the first time. The highlight of the meal was the melanzane, it was delicious. All three dishes came out well, the carpaccio di zucchini was also very unique. Allison delivered the meal herself and I would definitely order from her again. Looking forward to more additions to her menu! - David,EC1M

A delicious meal - the straccetti was steaming hot and very tasty. The zucchini was the stand-out part though - we were hugely impressed with the dressing and the unusual combination of truly delicious greens. Several nice freebies included too. - Jane,N1
