I ordered the Burns Night dinner for two to celebrate the bard Scottish-style (not an easy meal to whip up last-minute!), and the Great Chieftain o' the Pudding-Race was swiftly delivered by Chef Alice. Dressed head-to-toe in tartan, we whisked it into the kitchen to Address it and serve it up. We said the Selkirk Grace and dug in. Haggis, neeps, tatties and veg - beautifully cooked and completely delicious! We loved the surprise extra treat and the traditional creamy cranachan pudding to follow, all washed down with whisky (diners' own). A Burns Night to remember! :) - Lizzie,SW17

I'm loving housebites, it's brilliant. The venision and mushroom stew was absolutely amazing; really really delicious. A very very good meal, reasonably priced, delivered on time - very good on every scale. I had a dinner with two friends and between us we ordered the gingery braised chicken with couscous, warm salmon, sesame & soba noodle salad and the prawn dish. The very generously sized meal arrived on time and was a huge success. I personally had the chicken which was incrediby tender, had exactly the right amount of spice in it and was brilliantly complimented by the couscous. My friends both raved about their salmon and prawn meals and we were all delighted that Chef Alice added in some delicious homemade chocolates as a suprise. WOW, Alice has amazing culinary skills and my chosen meal of Roast Chicken with Romesco Sauce blew my tastebuds away. The chicken was juicy, the potatoes were flavoursome combined with the cabbage made it truly scrumptious. I am absolutely going to order this dish over and over again. I insisted that my flatmate had a taste and she was blown away too. The salted caramel millionaires shortbread is perfect with a hot cup of tea; it melts in your mouth and every mouthful leaves you wanting more. I can truly say this meal made my day, if not week. About 10pc cheaper than our average takeaway/delivery and about 10 times better. I'm not sure I'll go back to ordinary takeaways now we've discovered this. This is great food made by passionate people and at amazing prices considering. Chicken can often be ordinary, even more so if you order it delivered to your house. This was succulent on the inside and crispy on the outside. Both sauces came separately and were excellent though the salsa verde had the edge. Roast lemon potatoes were divine. Starters were light and tasty, summery and refreshing. Just the right portion. Brownie was moist and tasty yet light. Really amazed! We ate absolutely everything except a flapjack as we felt guilty nothing would be left for our kids who had gone to bed already :) - Marco,SW12

However think it was cheeky to serve up one tiny chicken thigh a few potatoes and no greens for £9.85 the chefs pricing and portion control is well out of kilter as to what's acceptable..
