My menu has evolved to include a variety of Italian tapas-style dishes called cicchetti. In keeping with my Italian heritage, these small plates are big on flavour and the variety means you you can pick and mix. This is great food for sharing – or an indulgent treat for one.
I grew up on the beautiful island of Sicily where I learned to cook with my mother and grandmother, and have worked throughout Europe over the past 14 years.
Sicilian food is totally unique. It is the product of a vast array of culinary influences, including Greek, Roman, Arab, Spanish and French cuisines. Now that I am in London, I want to introduce you to seasonal food, sourced locally and responsibly.
My arancini are a big favourite with Londoners and I recently won the title of #BestBalls in Carluccio's Arancini Challenge.
