Hello, I'm Scott! I’m really excited about producing excellent quality food that will rise above the usual Friday-night style of take-out food. What I’d really like to do is build up a fun and local clientèle; people I can serve and relate to on a “foodie” level.

My knowledge of different types of Cuisine is extensive, and I cook food from around the world for a hungry and very appreciative family at home. I often get asked to cater for weddings and friends’ parties.

I am a professional chef and have loved and worked with food for over 20 years. I was born in Sydney, but was raised in Scotland, starting out as a young apprentice in hotels in Edinburgh. My background also includes restaurants, and for the last 15 years, Corporate and Private Event catering in London, glitz and glamour and huge numbers.

Although my culinary education is firmly based in traditional French Cuisine, my range of dishes extends to all parts of the globe. The different menus that I look forward to creating for Housebites will reflect my passion for produce that is seasonal, fresh and appealing at an affordable price

This was the first time my girlfriend and I had used housebites - it was the best takeaway either of us had ever eaten. I hope Scott and the other chefs in my neighbourhood are always this good. I can't see us ever ordering a takeaway from anywhere else ever again. - jack, SW9
We had red pepper soup, Guinea Fowl and Rhubarb ice-cream when we had a friend round. It was a great evening, and the food was a highlight. The soup was smooth and full of flavour, the basil oil really set it off. The guinea fowl breast was moist and delicious, loved the potato cake and cabbage (which I was unnecessarily worried wouldn't travel well). The ice-cream and cookies were great too, though we were so full we only had a taste - we're going to eat the rest tonight! The food really made a Saturday night in something special. Excellent meal, cooked well and delivered on time. Rhubarb Ice Cream had bits of frozen rhubarb, but that would be very picky. Overall very good experience. - Rob, SE24
We ordered the guinea fowl and mushroom and spinach tart, which were both absolutely delicious. We were a bit worried we hadn't ordered enough food but the portions were really generous and filling. Overall a fantastic meal. Thanks Scott! - Michael, SW11
Scott's salmon was really good! It had a delicious cripy skin and the dish was packed with flavour. It was a good portion size too. The food was delivered on time by Scott's wife and she was really bubbly and friendly, giving us conplementary coffee. My wife had the chicory tart tatin starter and although it looked like a posh treat, it was wholesome and absolutely delicious. The little tomatoes that came with the salad were incredibly fresh and super tasty. Soup was great. We both chose the salmon which was fresh and really nice. Loved the soba noodles that accompanied it. All in all a fantastic and super tasty meal in. Would have it all again in a second. - Martin, SW4
