Hello, I'm Miroslav! When I was 12 years old I decided that I wanted to be a chef, but my mum dreamed of me becoming a doctor. Luckily, my determination was stronger, so I made my dream possible and have never looked back.

My cuisine is influenced by the ingredients and recipes that I´ve discovered while travelling around the world, especially Mediterranean cuisine.

I have over 15 years experience as a chef, having cooked in restaurants in the Czech Republic (where I am originally from) and the UK.

My passion is cooking and I love seeing people enjoying my food, so I hope you will enjoy it as well.

I am more than happy to cater for special requests when possible, so if there's a particular dish you'd like to try then please do let me know.

My Reviews

Everything arrived on time, very nicely packaged. The food was tasty and the meat tender. My husband said a few potatoes were very salty but he ate it all anyway! Portions were decent and altogether a good experience. We will certainly be ordering again. - Stephanie, W13
Excellent meal -lots of great flavours! - Joanna, W3
It was a really nice take away meal that tasted home cooked, comforting and healthy. Housebites was recommended by a friend of mine and it was one of the best recommendations EVER. Will definitely use them again. Miroslav is passionate about the food he prepares and told me that the Yorkshire puddings were not up to standard. They were very good in fact and we enjoyed them a lot. - Thomas, W5
Lovely evening meal - we will be ordering again. - Joanna, W3
Turkey stew was very tasty indeed. Luckily had some room left for the tasty pancakes as well. Many thanks - Andrew, W4
Really enjoyed the bread and butter pudding! - Caleb, W4
We ordered 6 meals for a dinner party at short notice and they were cooked perfectly, and delivered to us hot despite the snow outside. Great stuff. - Sophie, W5
The meal was extremely tasty, especially the roast potatoes! Will definitely be ordering from Miroslav again! Thank you!! :D - emily, W3
The apple crumble and custard was very nice. Very good-sized portions. - Jacqueline, W5
The whole takeaway was very well cooked, really fresh and piping hot. The portions were excellent. The lamb was especially good and the potatoes were great. The chicken was tasty though we would have liked a little more spice, perhaps some scotch bonnet. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks Miroslav! - Sophie, W5
Never disappointing!!! & the perfect mashed potato ♥ - Jamie, W5
The steak/potato/garlic bread combi was a bit too salty for our liking. The biscuits were fantastic though - thank you. See you again in the new year Miroslav - Andrew, W4
I would recommend Miroslav to anyone. The food was delicious! It is rare for me and my friends to like everything that is put on the plate. This time however, we loved EVERYTHING! I will definitely order from him again! :) - Agnes, W3
First order for me and everything was perfect. On time delivery and the beef stew was very tasty and packed full of tender meet. Big thumbs up from. Many thanks Miroslav - Andrew, W4
Nothing beats staying at home out of the cold & rain, enjoying - not just any takeaway - but a gourmet standard home delivery! - Jamie, W5
very delicious lamb & beef, juicy and succulent!! & the most amazing roasted veg with parmesan - really thumbs UP!! Only sad thing is the "volcano" was not "erupting"... hahaha... - Jamie, W5
The food was delicious and very generous in size! Each dish had it's own personal touch and was well presented. I will definitely recommend this chef to my friends and can't wait to order from him again! - Sarah, W5
Our meal was excellent. The fish pie was very tasty, filled with lovely chunks of good quality fish. The apple pie was nicely spiced and delicious. We loved the presentation of the chocolate banana cake. The portions were huge, and we were surprised by the extras of veg, cream and custard. We were delighted with our meal and will highly recommend Housebites to friends and colleagues.....and expect to make a lot of use of the service in the future. - Meg, W3
It's our 1st time trying Czech cuisine, so pls pardon our ignorance.. Overall, generous portion was a big plus point, commendable effort put into packaging, presentation & punctuality, warm & friendly service in explanation, & most importantly, fine gourmet at affordable prices, in the comfort of our own home!! Well done indeed!!! So, dish by dish, these are our thoughts: Beef Goulasah - incredibly tasty!! plenty of beef - taste is not overpowering, so we can continue enjoying it even after a few servings. Dumplings - maybe it's new to us so personally we are not too keen about this soft bread-like accompaniment. We totally LOVE the rice though, goes superb with goulash & even the soup! YUM! Cabbage Soup with chorizo - looks somewhat a type of Asian vegetable curry dish, but pleasantly refreshing & appetising, excellent as a starter, interesting combination of veg with sausage, welcoming to taste buds. Cocoa & vanilla marble cake - not as pretty as pic, but portion certainly made up for it! Personally pref more cocoa if possible! Crusty on the outer but light & soft inside, results - soothing! Good on its own but simply heaven with the rasp jam! Great fusion! - Mike, W5

Thank you!
