Hello, I'm Gill! I learnt to cook literally at my mother's knee and have loved it ever since. Nothing makes me happier than the prospect of a day's cooking ahead of me - chopping, stirring, mixing, tasting, kneading, slicing - and the joy of the finished, piping-hot dishes, presented to hungry friends. I love devising menus and thinking about the timings and the finer details and what will make people happy.
It's time to turn my passionate hobby into the day job. I've worked as an International PR Director in the luxury industry for years, eating and drinking in some of the best restaurants all over the world, but now it's time to cook! My food is simple and real, and you'll hopefully agree that it's also very delicious.
