Superb! We haven't had as good a roast since we last had one from Franscisco. Everything was delicious, the best and the biggest Yorkshire puddings, perfectly cooked meats of excellent quality and great range of veg, especially tasty cabbage and carrot and swede mash, not to mention the great roasties. quite a few years ago i thought wouldn't it be amazing if someone actually delivered a roast dinner,and now someone does and to be honest i wasn't expeting anything brilliant cos it has to be cooked and then brought to me so it could had easily been luke warm and rubberry...but no,it was pretty damn good great chicken,great roast potatoes,great veg,great gravy and all hot.i'll be avin more of that me thinks! - andy, N16

Was impressed, was better than a lot of pub roasts I've had. Generous portion. Meat tasted good quality and wasn't overcooked. Pretty good yorkshire pudding which is rare. Only gripe was that it could have been a little hotter. I think a roast by nature is quite a hard thing to deliver hot. Was still hot enough not to require extra oven or microwave time. If I use this service again would probably opt for a stew or something similar which would keep its heat better/ - Alex, N4

Absolutely delicious and far better than expected. Beef and chicken both very good quality and lots of flavour, yorkshires huge and light, potatoes lovely, well-cooked and great variety of veg and tasty gravy (and I very rarely like lots of gravy but this was an exception). We were delighted with the meal. It was an excellent quality roast, better than we would expect from a gastropub but at a lower price. Such a big portion - we were definitely full at the end. The gravy was dark, rich and tangy. The veg were chunky and perfect to the bite. The meat was creamy and succulent. The horseradish sauce had just the right kick. The roast potatoes were melt-in-the-mouth soft (it might have been nice for the outsides of the roasties and the Yorkshire puddings to have been a tad more cooked, but this is but a minor quibble.) The delivery came 20 minutes earlier than announced, which was fine as we were hungry but could have been a bit complicated for everyone as we had chosen to go round to the corner shop. Fortunately the person delivering was happy to wait for us to return, but we hope it wasn't a hassle for them. All in all we would recommend so thank you - Tobias, E8

Cracking roast dinner - veg with the right amount of bite, lovely roast potatoes and a nice bit of chicken. The only duff note was the unpleasant gravy granule gravy. But great without that, and would definitely order again. Good value too. - Alison, N4

So good and a really generous portion, I couldn't fit it all on my plate! I enjoyed it so much I had to call my mum to let her know I was making her redundant :) It was also great value; the same cost as the roast at my local pub but delivered to my door (and better quality, none of that 'school meals' stuff here, it was all freshly cooked to order). Delicious food delivered on time, which was even more impressive as I ordered 4 meals to be delivered within the hour. I couldn't give a 'very good' rating because the food wasn't hot enough and the yorkshire puddings were a bit stodgy. The presentation of the food could also have been better - the yorkshire puddings were put straight in the bag rather than in a container making big grease patches, one bag was torn in some places and the other bag was not sealed properly.
