As previously the food was all of a consisently high standard. The starters the bouilabasse picquant and meaty (fish), the chicken livers perfectly pink and flavoured by the lardons. The mains - gnocci light and fresh complimented by goats cheese and crunchy courgette whilst the vegetable gratin was creamy with all the vegetable flavours coming through. Another fabulous dinner, fresh salad with dressing & a salsa! Perferct. Followed by pork loin ( so big my dog enjoyed it too) and although i didnt order it, ive become such a regular customer Brian threw in a lemon sponge pudding! Delicious, the dog didnt get any! Another ten out of ten! the beef was perfectly cooked medium rare, as were the roast potatoes & carrots, it was all delicious, only to be topped by the brownie which i ate all myself! the macaroons were lovely too. my food was fantastic, delivered on time, hot and fresh. the chicken was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes good, I made bubble & squeak with the leftovers.the Crumble was just like Grannies. Decided to try the spiced chicken on another lazy night in, and definitely was surprised to try chicken breast that was flavor full, juicy and tender. The butternut squash puree and creamy mushroom sauce was scrumptious and just made the whole thing taste amazing. The meal was ready when I picked it up and was still nice and hot by the time I got home. Thanks again Brian! Definitely looking forward to trying your other dishes soon! Was really lazy to prepare and wait for my own pork roast, not to mention having to do the dishes after!, Luckily housebites service was nice and simple. The skin of the pork belly was perfect and crispy, and the meat was succulent and flavorful. Just right and hit the spot. Followed by a lemon tart that had a nice crusty top layer of caramel and creme fraiche on the side, i definitely had the best takeaway ever! Looking forward to trying his other dishes!.
